I started up Chicago Youth Radio WCYR a nonprofit radio station @ John Spry Community School in the Little Village Chicago IL area. Also mix ar Chicago night clubs, bars, lounges and special events like the House of Sol at the Fiesta of Sol Festival and Chicago House Music Festival. These are just a few openers about Dekky who has devoted his life to DJing and to the world’s weirdest invention ;- the vinyl record. ; Dekky started to perform as a DJ in 1988 in a club in Otocec, where he played soul, funk and disco music and prepared a weekly Top 20 show on a local radio station 'Studio D'. It was then that he also came across house music for the first time and shortly after visiting Ministry of Sound in London, decided to devote his career 100% to music. ; ; In 1995 he scored his first residency as DJ and promoter of Saturday house nights at the 'Central’ in Ljubljana. In the meantime he began promoting house music on air with a programme called »Dance Culture« broadcast on Radio Gama MM and later for another Ljubljana radio station RGL. During this time he also organised a notable club tour »Clubbing In Your House« in cooperation with known clubs and DJ's in Slovenia. ; In the year 2000 he visited the Red Bull Music Academy for DJs, producers and remixers in Dublin where he attended workshops lectured by well known international DJs and artists. There he acquired his insatiable inspiration for house music production. ; A year later he started his own house music production imprint 'Urban Dance Institution'. Together with Aleš Bartelj, Mario Marolt and injected with the vocal talents of London singer Lucy May, UDI had their biggest hit 'Like Music' on single, which charted on DJ Mags Hype Charts and was played on stations like BBC Radio 1, Galaxy FM, House FM and Ministry Of Sound Radio. Single also went on double compilation Habitat Collection (Kinky Sweet Recordings) alongside Kings of Tommorow, Barbara Tucker; Kenny Bobien, Michelle Weeks & many more. ; In 2006 he become resident house and disco night DJ in a leading Ljubljana club 'Cvetlicarna' (Flower Shop) where known guests including MN2S, Garage City, Lamerica, Kinky Malinki and DJ's such as ;CJ Macintosh, Bobby & Steve, Neil Pierce, The Jinks and many others performed. ; Dekky has been spinning for known event promotions as Garage City, Lamerica and Kinky Malinki in clubs such as Pacha-London, Matter-London, Bar Rumba-London, Turnmills-London, Liquid-Cardiff, Sirens-Dublin, Fabriq-Austria, Blue & Tantra-Miami... In 2007 he visited WMC in Miami and performed famous event Soul On The Beach with jocks such as Terry Hunter, Jamie Lewis, JellyBean Benitez…. and vocalists as Barbara Tucker, Keith Thompson, CeCe Peniston…. ;Zoo Groove Stereo and Kinky Malinki as well as at the eastern European festival “See Me” where he set turntables grooving at the Chervilo club. ; He also performed at the legendary Slovene club Ambasada Gavioli, spinning alongside the Godfathers of house music Frankie Knuckles and David Morales and other famous jocks as Bob Sinclair, David Guetta, Martin Solveig From October 2007 he was weekly resident at the prestige Paprika club in Portoroz (Slovenia), where he enraptured his sophisticated audience with a colourful five hours of soulful, deep, jazzy and funky house. I started DJing in the late 80's, went through the whole rave scene in the UK. From there in the mid 90's started a sound system (Gangster Dolphin) & put on free parties in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Norfolk. Played all over the UK, Ibiza & Kavos. Mainly do radio these days but still love to play. Grew up as a 70's child on a diet of mainly Disco, Hip Hop & House, these themes are a constant present in what I play today. These early influences had a profound affect on me & why I love Jackin House, Tech House & Disco so much to this day. My passion is to deliver the best aural experience I can to the end user, YOU! DJ Dynasty is an original NYC vinyl DJ who started out in 1978 and has played in everything from weekend long schoolyard jams in the Bronx to New Year’s Eve parties in the legendary, One Times Square Plaza. DJ Dynasty has also dj'd at in other NYC venues such asRoseland, Nirvana Club One, Ernie Barrys, TJ Bentleys, City Scene III (Old Plaza Suite), West Street Lounge. I learned beat matching at an early age and developed a diverse taste in Funk, Soul, Electro Funk, Disco and even Hip-Hop at the time and I was fortunate enough to meet many people who shared their diverse music experience. This helped me gain a wealth of knowledge of different music from a wide demographic. The combination of which has developed into my own unique style that can be heard in my classic mixes today. I relocated to South Florida back in the late 90’s and over the years I’ve played a number of Disco parties and clubs. I also record a lot of my mixes and I post them on my website, all of which are available for download. I hope you enjoy and thanks for listening.

I started mixing at the young age of 9 years old. I was always intrigued by the mixes I heard on the radio as I was growing up. I listened to the radio more than I watched TV. During the late 70's and early 80's New York radio was going through a transformation that blended Disco, Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Latin grooves. Most of the music was played by groups / bands whose players vibed off of each other. It was a great time for music with a "party" feel on every other track. As I grew older I played in many clubs, was a Mobile DJ and played for many Birthdays and Weddings. I made mix-tapes weekly but always gave them away. I eventually ended up producing and engineering in my own studio. My next chapter in life was Law Enforcement. After about a 10 year hiatus, I recently started mixing again. Although I mix current line up, I am always drawn to the Old School Classics. Listen and Enjoy. PLAY IT LOUD!!
